Ben Baldwin

Ben Baldwin is the Director of Agri-Food & Data Science, a business unit within Agri-Science Queensland that supports the Queensland food and agricultural industries by conducting R&D that help companies and farmers achieve the best possible return for the resources invested into growing and producing agricultural products.

A Molecular Biologist by training, Ben has had experience in Skin Cancer, Breast Cancer and Adult Stem Cell research, as well as agriculture with Sugarcane and Aquaculture Research.

After completing his Executive MBA, Ben has consulted with EY and through his own consultancy, Dara consulting lead UQ through the development of the Children’s Health Research Centre and the merging of UQ’s School of Dentistry and the Brisbane Dental Hospital.

Ben has a passion for facilitating research, developing businesses and leadership.

As a ‘hobby’, Ben has also written a book “The Etiquette of Leadership: The Art and Science of Leading Well”, with co-author Ian Sampson.
